Robert Lynn Blevins, Sr. 72 of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017. He was a retired security worker and a United States Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee Blevins and Edith Denton Blevins.
Survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy Slusher Blevins. A daughter Regina Blevins of Roanoke and a son, Robert L. Blevins, Jr, of Roanoke; Three granddaughters; Caitlyn Blevins, Kasey Blevins and Ashley Blevins.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, May 28th from 4-8 pm at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke, Va. A crypt side service will be held at 1pm on Monday, May 29th at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Jeff Gardener officiating. The family request memorial donations made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 or The Shriners Children Hospital, PO Box 31356, Tampa, FL 31356.
