Mariam “Mary Lou” Scott Eubank of Roanoke, age 86, passed away Sunday October 8, 2017. Mariam was the daughter of the late James Edward Creasy and Emma Lillian Creasy. Mariam enjoyed many fun trips to Vegas, square dancing and yard sales. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by Patrick Henry Eubank and Alvin Hylton Scott.
Surviving is her daughter, Charlotte Ann Moore; sons, Hylton Blake Scott (Pamela) of Mechanicsville, Virginia and Alvin Michael Scott of Glen Allen, Virginia; sister, Doris M. Shaver of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Kristie Moore Baumann (Reese), Bradley Alan Moore, Alvin Michael Scott, Jr. (Barbie), Iris Hernandez (Faustino); great grandson Alec Scott and Faustino Nunez, Jr. Her three dearly beloved kitties added joy to her day.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Mariam Eubank to Alzheimer’s Association, 3959 Electric Road, Roanoke, Va.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. A celebration of “Mary Lou’s” life will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke with Reverend Harry Hudson officiating. The family would like to thank all of the nurses and technicians on 6 West at Lewis Gale Hospital for their compassionate care of our mom during her stay. We would also like to thank our very special aunt Emma Jean Dent for always being there for her and making her laugh.
