We became closely acquainted with Kathryn, Danny and the Laprade faimily while serving as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bedford, Virginia in 2009-2010. Kathryn had an inner strength that carried her through every hardship. She cared about others. She was capable and kind. She was the obvious source of stability, comfort and service to her children and extended family. We loved this good woman and we pray for Danny and her family in this time of separation.
