Francis “Junior” Snowney, 86, of Roanoke formerly of Geneva, New York passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the VA Hospital. He was born May 2, 1930 a son of the late Frank Snowney, Junior and Anna Farsace Snowney and a sister, Maryann Rita Snowney Pearcy.

Surviving him are two nieces, Sharon Pearcy Lyle and husband, Randy, Donna Pearcy Early, both of Roanoke, along with great-nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank TJ and staff at Restin South and VA Hospice Unit for all the care and support they gave to Junior.

Services will be private.
