Yolanda Galvan, 67, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022.
Yolanda had a passion for being in the kitchen, she opened a restaurant with her family named “EL Palenque” while owner of this restaurant she received awards for the restaurant and awards for being a great chef. She loved Roanoke and being a teacher she just loved children. Yolanda was a warrior who loved her family.
Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Yolanda Gonzalez; brother, Roberto Gonzalez; sisters, Marisela Hernandez and Doralilia Gonzalez.
Surviving is her loving husband of 48 years, Frank Galvan; daughter, Gabriela Gallegos (Robert); sons, Roberto Galvan (Desiree) ,Edward Galvan; brothers, Armando Gonzalez, Adolfo Gonzalez, Arturo Gonzalez; sister, Carmen Montes; grandsons, Roberto and Alonso Medina.
