Virginia Feazelle Rorer, 92, (“Granny Rorer”) of Roanoke has gone to Heaven. We will all miss her. The world lost a bit of its shine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Rorer, Jr.; parents, Delmar Greene and Beatrice Allie Feazelle; sister, Jean Elgin; and brother, Junior Feazelle.
Virginia leaves behind a daughter, Nancy Sparrow (Eddie); son, Jeff Rorer (Pam); grandchildren, Jennifer Rorer, Colby Rorer (Caroline), Spencer Sparrow, Hannah Sparrow, and Ethan Sparrow; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Rorer, Leighton Rorer, and Harrison Rorer.
The family would like to thank the good people at Friendship Assisted Living and Raleigh Court Health and Rehabilitation Center for their help and kindness during Virginia’s declining years.
We know that your legs are perfect now and you will be dancing with your husband again!
A Celebration of Virginia’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road SW, Roanoke, with Rev. Joe Elmore officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Burial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m.
