Sandee Kay McGlaun, 51, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
Sandee was a Professor of Creative writing and Founder and Director of the writing center at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. She was a writer and a blogger who enjoyed Art and Theater and loved the outdoors. Sandee was also an Artist in Residence at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Sandee is preceded in death by her grandparents; Alden and Virginia Kynor, Harvey and Eller McGlaun.
Surviving is her Loving husband of 6 years; Stephen Prisley, parents; Garry and Margaret McGlaun, sons; Tucker Stephen Prisley and Dustin Patrick Prisley, brother; Todd McGlaun and wife Lisa, niece; Natasha, nephews; Derrick, Daniel, Hunter and Ethan, great nieces; Laurel and Maeve, special fur babies; Charlie Kate, Finn, Herry.
Memorial service will be at a later date.
