Ruby A. Tyree

Ruby A. Tyree, 84, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019. She was born Friday, September 28, 1934, a daughter of the late William H. Tyree and Pauline A. Hodges Hackett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard H. Tyree, Emmett L. Tyree, and Glenn E. Tyree and sister, Dorothy Tyree.
Ruby is survived by her brother, Matthew Tyree; special nieces, Brenda Perkins and Patsy Bryson who were faithfully involved in her life, as well as many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Ruby’s Life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke Chapel, 1001 Franklin Rd. SW, with Pastor Melton Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Burial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
