Mr. Randy Floyd Scott

Randy Floyd Scott, 69, of Chesapeake, VA passed away at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital on November 8, 2021. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Randy was the son of the late Harold Floyd Scott and Phyllis Elaine Scott.

Randy served his country in the US Navy for 22 years as an Electronics Technician. After his military service, he continued to use his skills for another 27 years as a government contractor. Randy enjoyed fishing, reading, and doing puzzles.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Scott, son Eric Scott of Moyock, NC and daughter Sarah Scott of Roanoke, VA. Also surviving are his brothers Steve (Betty) Morgan and Mike Scott and his sisters Mary Kuchulan, Nancy (Ray) Stinnett and Patty Scott from the Detroit area, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Randy was predeceased by his brother Jimmy Scott, brother-in-law Johnny and nephew Brian Stinnett.

Lotz Funeral Home in Roanoke is assisting the family. At Randy’s request, no memorial service will be held. He will be cremated and his ashes will be dispersed in his favorite places.
