Ollie Lee Shreve, 91, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
Mrs. Shreve was born July 27, 1927, a daughter of the late John and Curnie Bradshaw. She worked as a nursing assistant at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital in the pediatrics and geriatrics departments of which she retired in 1992 at the age of 65 to take care of her great grandson.
In addition to her parents, Ollie was preceded in death by her husband, Homer “Red” Shreve; son, David Shreve; grandson, and Jeffrey Durham.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Pam Durham and Karen Noell and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Corrinna Newbanks, Bobbi Shreve, Stephanie Shreve, Scott Noell, Tammie Brewster, and Betty Noell; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Sherwood Memorial Park.
