Mikey…If there was a definition for Mikey this is what it would be…pure, kind, generous, full of life, light and love, caring, intelligent, funny, mischievous, and silly! He loved the outdoors, Deer hunting, fishing, coon hunting, anything in the water or mud! He never met a stranger! He was a good son, grandson, Daddy, brother, cousin and friend. And his family was his world! He stepped into the role of Daddy not long ago, and was taking in every sweet moment of it! He was smitten with that precious baby girl! And it showed in that beautiful smile he gave at the slightest mention of her!  His heart was as big as the universe and although he wanted to be the tough guy, he was the most tenderhearted person ever and cared deeply about the things and people he loved. His smile…it would light up a room when he walked in and the love in his heart spoke through that smile! No matter how bad a day you may have  been having, he made sure he left you laughing! He always had a shoulder for you to cry on and an ear for listening. He was a giver whether it be a dollar or even the shirt off his back! His friends…he had their backs no matter what! If you were his, then he was yours! He was loyal! He never gave up! He always kept trying. In a world full of hate and darkness, Mikey was that ray of sun that made people believe in goodness. HE WAS LOVE! He came from love and has now returned to love! He touched so many lives here. His presence will be missed by everyone. Although he won’t be here with us physically, his love will live on forever! Each day someone will recall something he said or did to make them laugh, a helping hand he gave, or a word of encouragement he left them with. He is leaving us with so many wonderful memories! We all wish there would be more, but he is leaving us with the greatest gift possible, HIS LOVE! And I can promise you, he had enough of that for every single person in this world!! He is living his best life now, hitting a mud hole or throwing a line out into that sea of gold, reeling in a fish! Mikey…our boy, our friend!
