Ms Kathryn Marsh Meucci

Kathryn Meucci, 72, was taken unexpectedly from us on October 15, 2021, while at home.
Kathryn was born February 22, 1949 in Essex, England, later finding home in Roanoke, Virginia.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Irene Marsh; her sister, Janet Darnell; and her late love, Charles Dillon, III.

She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Lauren Meucci; her son and calming peace, Christopher Meucci, the luv of her life, granddaughter, Kora Meucci; and her step-son Eric Dolumba and family; her extended family, Lisa and William Payne, Helen Commerford and her beloved nephews and family in England.

Kathryn loved life, she lived for her family, her friends and her critters. She looked forward to being with her “Tea Sipper” girls once a month. She was best known for the drinks she mixed up working the pub at Hotel Roanoke. Kathryn most recently discovered her greatest joy in life in caring for her granddaughter, Kora, she thrived being a Nana. Kathryn touched many lives around the world, never knew a stranger, and will be missed deeply.

Visitation and funeral services are being held at Lotz Funeral Home on Franklin Road. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10-12pm and funeral service will follow that afternoon at 2pm with Pastor Karen MacPhail officiating.
