Ms. Kathryn Alva McGalliard Chattin

Kathryn Alva McGalliard Chattin, 87 of Denver, Colorado passed away on February 6, 2022, in the arms of her family. Kathryn was the beloved Matriarch and is lovingly missed by her five children, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, her two sisters and brother. She is survived by her son Garry L. Chattin of Cocoa Beach, FL, and his children Ashley & Phil and their son Landon; and Tamara Manuel and her sons Leighton and Braylon; her son Gene A. & Kathryn Chattin of Rockledge, Fla and their sons Christopher & Jennifer Chattin and their daughter Raea: and Alan Chattin; her son Gregory S. & Linda Chattin of Cocoa Beach, FL and their children Shelby Chattin and Travis Chattin; her daughter Cynthia C. Thompson & Thomas Winn of Denver, CO and her children Michael & Heather Thompson and their daughters, Hailey, Kailyn, Kennedy and Mackensie Kate; Tiffany & Rafal Medron and their son Witold; Christine Thompson & Thomas Bishop and their children, Joey, Cullen, Tommy and Wesley; and her daughter Linda S. & Gene Browder of Las Vegas, NV.

She truly loved and is survived by her sisters, Helen Allie and her daughter Monica & Matt Holiday and their children Emma and Ben. Her sister Sue & Larry Sabsazk and her children Roger Haley and his son RJ; Robert & Kim Haley and their children Nathan, Katie, Amanda and BJ; Randy & Jodi Haley and their children Samantha and Brandon. Her brother, William & Sandra McGalliard. She was predeceased by her sister, Rachael Wright, who is survived by her children Diane, William, Jim and Leigh.

A celebration service of Kathryn and Sonny's life will be 11am Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke 1001 Franklin Road S.W. Roanoke, VA 24016 with Pastor Melton Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 10 to 11pm.

In honor of our parents, A Celebration of Life for Kathryn and Sonny Chattin will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Holiday Inn 4468 Starkey Road Roanoke, VA 24018.
