Mrs. Kathleen Marie Currier

Kathleen Marie (Torrice) Currier, 85, of Fincastle, Virginia, (longtime native of North Reading, Massachusetts) passed away on February 10, 2021 after a long-fought battle with Alzheimer’s. She is preceded in death by her dear sisters and brothers, Mary Beauchamp and her husband George, Grace Langill and her husband Bill, Donya Ridge and her husband Laurence, Angie LaCasse and her husband Lawrence, Joseph Torrice and his wife Yolanda, Carl Torrice and his wife Jen, John Torrice and his wife Theresa and Sam Torrice.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, David F. Currier; Kathleen was a devoted mother to Michelle M. Currier of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael D. Currier and wife Carol of Londonderry, NH, Monique M. Green and her husband Dale of Fincastle, VA and grandmother to Zachary Fry of Denver, Colorado; sister-in-law Claire Torrice, wife of Sam Torrice, dearest niece Carol Torrice of Woburn, MA and dearest friend Beverly McLaughlin of Woburn, MA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call at the Lynch-Cantillion Funeral Home on Thursday, February 18, 2021from 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Charles Church 10 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021. Interment is private at Puritan Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Fund.
