John "Calvin" Dunlap, Jr., 52, of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 after a battle with cancer. He was a fighter and fought hard to win the battle.
He is survived by his parents, Linda Sue Higgins Dunlap and John Calvin Dunlap, Sr.; the love of his life, Anita G. Weaver; his children, Calvin Dwayne Chrisjohn and Kaila Jo Weaver; brother and sister, Charles Mason Dunlap and Kimberly Dawn Dunlap; nieces and nephew, Chasity Dunlap, Ebonye' Garland and Chaz Dunlap; great-nephews and niece; Jordan Dunlap, Willilam Morgan III and Mila Rose Garland, and very close cousin; Eldridge "Eldie" Mays and many other family members and friends, and his faithful sidekick Willy and Bentlee.
A memorial service celebrating John’s life will be held at a later date.
The family ask that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
