Mrs. Jean Ann Minton

Jean Ann Minton, 83, of Roanoke passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was a daughter of the late Edmond Hansford Cash and Elsie Delih Miller. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Buren Minton, Jr.; and a sister Clara Henderson.

Jean is survived by her son, Jerry Minton and wife, Linda; sisters, Shirley Gillespie and Eddye Benedict; nieces, Cheryl, Cindy, Shannon, Sherri and Cassie.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 7301 Ohms Lane, Suite 355, Minneapolis, MN 55439.

The family will receive friends 2-4 pm, Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. A celebration of Jean’s life will be held 11 am, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Lotz Funeral Home with Pastor Melton Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
