Mr. Jason Aaron Gibson

Jason Aaron Gibson passed away on Sunday August 1, 2021 at 530pm in a car crash. He was only 20 years old. Jason was born 11/25/2000 in Boones Mill, VA. The only son born to Chris and Julia Gibson, he loved everyone he met.

Jason is preceded by his Poppop Charlie Gibson and survived by his parents Julia Gibson and Chris and Mary Gibson, grandparents Paula Gibson (Mimi), Robert Powers (Papa Dink), James Grant (Grandpa Jim) and Jetta Grant (Nana), his 3 aunts and their husbands, and 5 cousins.

Jason graduated high school and entered the work force where he took pride in landscaping and tending to lawns. At a young age, Jason found a true passion in his country boy ways. He enjoyed being outside. Jason was fond of fishing and hunting. He cherished the memories of camping trips taken with his family. He loved off road activities such as dirt bikes and ATVs.

Jason was looking forward to a fresh start. His love will live on in the hearts of his family and his first love, Shelby Mueller. He spent his free time with friends and family and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 9pm, Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. Burial will be private.
