Mr. James "Jimmy" Lee Morris

James “Jimmy” Lee Morris, 58, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He was a son of the late Michael Gene Morris and Paige McPhail Morris. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his uncle A.J. Smith; and a nephew, Paul Smith.

Surviving him are his son, Justin Morris; step-children, Jesse Smith and Nicole Edwards (Michael); sister, Cathy Carney; aunts and uncle, Janice Fraley (Larry), Kitten Camper (Timmy) and Allen Morris (Margaret); 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; niece, Michelle Smith; nephew, Cory Smith; best friend, Randall Edwards; numerous cousins.

Jimmy enjoyed painting, fishing and watching the Steelers. Jimmy was a social butterfly, who never met a stranger.

A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 26, 2024 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be made at www.lotzfuneralhomeroanoke.com
