Mrs. Elsie Katherine Freeman

Elsie Katherine Freeman, 84, of Roanoke went to her heavenly home Wednesday, September 5, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Perry R. and Katherine V. Alls; husband of 40 years, Eugene Freeman; daughter and son, Linda K. Freeman-Milton and Marvin Graybill, Sr.; brother and sister, Henry Alls and Gladys Wood; grandson, Matthew Milton.

Surviving are her daughters, Pat Whitcomb (John), Barbara Fralin (Steve), Vickie Craig (Randy), Brenda Graybill and Sheila Ferrell (Bill); brother, Vernon Ray Alls; 12 grandchildren, Steve Fralin, Jr. (Tanya), Jeff Fralin (Glenda), Emma Watling (Andrew), Angie Cooper (Scott), Tiffany Nolen, Nicole Hillman (Shawn), Hollie Craig, Troy Craig, Marvin Graybill, Jr. (Shonda), Missy Davis (Chuck), Jacob Milton (Heather), Kevin Ferrell and fiancé, Lauren; 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. A memorial service celebrating Elsie’s life will be held 2 pm, Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Lotz Funeral Home with Pastor Anita McCauley officiating. Burial will follow at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
