Mrs Doris Thompson Caldwell

Doris Thompson Caldwell, 91, of Roanoke went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 23, 2018. She was a member of 9th Street Church of the Brethren her entire life and got great joy from singing in the choir. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Norman Eugene Caldwell.

Surviving her are her children, Eugene Caldwell, Jr. (Karen), Jerry Caldwell (Cynthia Gray) and Barbara Wilson; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Doris’s life will be held 12 noon, Friday, July 27, 2018 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke with Pastor Dan Rudy officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 12 noon prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
