Denise Michelle Elkins, 51, of Roanoke passed away Friday, September 8, 2023. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Hazel Cox “Granny Cox”.

Surviving are her mother, Patricia Gilley; partner, Mike Chinn; children, Holly Powell, Zachary Elkins (Ashley), Aaron Elkins (Helen), Nathan Elkins, Emily Elkins and fiancé, Jacob Poteat, Justin Broughman; sister, Brittany Gilley; grandchildren, Aubrey and Hayes Elkins; aunt, Linda Robertson; nieces and nephews, Dominic, Alex, Isabella, Liliana and Elena; special friend, Renita; her dog, Molly; and numerous other family and friends.

Burial will be private.
