Brenda Lee Aldredge loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, 73, of Roanoke passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022. She was a daughter of the late Charles L. and Ruth Cadd Aldredge. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Leonard Aldredge, Jr.

Brenda was an enormous part of her family’s lives. Through her battle of illness she gave love and strength to her family and friends especially her daughter, Shannon.

Surviving are Hope Brickey daughter and husband William, and Shannon Hopkins; a stepson, Eric Howard and wife, Karla; one sister, Linda Poindexter and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Stephini, Stephen, Joshuah, Tessa, Brandon, Corey, Leland and Alex; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm, Monday, June 20, 2022 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held 2 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Lotz Funeral Home, Roanoke with Pastor Brian Geiser officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
