Mr. Bobby Lee Snyder

Bobby Lee Snyder, 88, of Moneta passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020. He was a son of the late John W. Snyder and Cammie Reed Snyder. Bobby was an active member at Franklin Heights Baptist Church where he served as an usher.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, LaRue Snyder; his children, Donna Brown, Barry Snyder, Vickie Turner and Mary Dudley (Steve); numerous grandchildren and a whole slew of great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the family and friends for the phone calls, cards and prayers.

The family will receive friends 2 to 3 pm, Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Franklin Heights Baptist Church 110 Hilltop Dr, Rocky Mount, VA 24151with a funeral service to follow at 3 pm with Dr. Stanley Parris, Pastor J. Larry Holland, Pastor Bobby Young, Pastor Bobby Canipe and Pastor Rob Flint officiating.

A graveside committal service will be held 10 am, Monday, August 17, 2020 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
