Mrs Barbara Fleshman Nunley

Barbara Fleshman Nunley, 87, of Roanoke went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Linda Fleshman; husband, Charles “Chuck” Nunley; brother, Jim Fleshman.

Barbara loved camping with her husband and friends, she also enjoyed working at the church camp in the summers.

Surviving is her son, David Nunley (Sharon); sister’s in-law; Mary Jane Simmons, Sadie Weddle (Jim), Ginny Meacham, Emily Minnix (Don), Molly Simmons (Larry); a very special person in Barbara’s life, Shanna Windham and family; numerous nieces, nephews, and many, many friends that she treasured.

A graveside service celebrating Barbara’s life will be held 11am Monday, September 26, 2022 at Franklin Memorial Park 240 S. Main Street Rocky Mount, VA 24151 with Pastor Jeff Gardner officiating. Family will receive friends Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 3 to 7 pm at Lotz Funeral Home 1001 Franklin Road Roanoke, VA 24016.
