Joe H. Swanson, 83, of Roanoke died Tuesday, January 30, 2018.  Born in Boomer, NC. He was the son of the late L. Clyde Swanson and Nancy Belle Swanson. Joe was a veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Surviving are three brothers, Clyde Junior Swanson of Chattanooga, TN, John L. Swanson of Salem, VA and Benjamin H.  Swanson of Simpsonville, SC., and several nieces and nephews.
