Everett I. Craighead, Jr (LeRoy), 73, of Salem, went to be with his heavenly Father on June 9, 2017. Everett was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his father, Everett Craighead, Sr. and his mother Dorothy Craighead, grandson; Cory Craighead; sister, Betty Craighead; and brother, Johnny Craighead.
Surviving to cherish Everett’s memory is his wife, Sandra Craighead, sons; Timothy Craighead and Steve Craighead (Hope), grandsons; Timothy Craighead, Jr., Matthew Craighead, sister; Shirley Wade; brother, Carlton Craighead (Linda); sister in-law, Faye Craighead, Donna Brown, Rita Quam and Betty Brown; brothers-in-law, Wayne Brown, Leonard Brown and Danny Quam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Lotz Roanoke Chapel. A service to celebrate Everett’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
