Bradley Clay Purcell, 39, passed away suddenly on August 7, 2017. He leaves to cherish his memory, his two children, Averie and Malaiah; his mother Dawn and her partner Rik; his sister Amy and her husband Penn; his sister Nichole and her children Lillian and Miles; his grandmother Carol and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Born in Florida, he spent most of his life in Roanoke, Virginia. He attended Patrick Henry High School, James River High School, and the Virginia Military Institute. Even while working full time, he was a proprietor of the Valley Vape Spot. He will be remembered for his generosity, his humor and his fierce loyalty to those he loved.

A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road SW, Roanoke, Virginia 24016. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted for the benefit of his children to: The Bradley C. Purcell Memorial Fund. Checks may be made payable to the Bradley C. Purcell Memorial Fund and mailed to 1221 Floyd Avenue SW, Roanoke, Virginia 24015.
